A stunning piece of mixed media art that is absolutely going to WOW in your home. A very rare piece that I have loved to have in my home for years now. From my research all pieces were made differently in fabric used, and layouts. 

Multiple fabrics / textiles with cotton or poly fill, sewn to canvas with drawn features; mounted in an aluminum metal frame. 
NATSUKO is written on the textile in the bottom left. This was the wife of Fritts, but unknown if she collaborated on the pieces, or if this specific piece was inspired by her.
Overall good vintage condition with expected patina and some fading of the fabrics. This fabric is delicate so restoration has not been attempted on my end because I do not mind those disclaimers mentioned. Fading to the floral on the bottom with small ribbed fabric in spots. Upper left staining to green fabric square. 
Size: 32 width by 53 length and 1.5 depth.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Ron Fritts is a 20th-century contemporary American artist, fashion designer, painter and educator. Fritts studied fine art at the Carnegie Institute, theatre arts at Columbia, painting at the Cooper Union in New York and received his MFA from the University of Cincinnati.

Fritts was a visual merchandising designer in New York. He then founded RF Studios, Inc. for national distribution of art and maintained a Madison Ave gallery for his art and designs. Eventually, he found his way into the fashion world and his gallery became the Fritts Collection where his fashions were well received along with his art. The gallery lasted twenty five years with two other locations in Manhattan. He discontinued national distribution in order to focus attention on fashion. Fritts was a professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York for 37 years.

Fritts retired and moved to the Southwest to capture the enormous beauty of the Southwest.
